Bride of Christ - Purification & Sanctification
Ephesians 5:25-27
“…just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless”
Instead of a bride holding flowers on her wedding day, here is a bride holding the Word of God that washes her clean everyday. Even when the fire is 7 times hotter, there’s always a smile filled with joy - radiant and holy.
It may always seem that when we stay courageous in the confession of our faith, crisis happens next. Much like the three Hebrew men who are casted violently into the furnace, I believe that we will come through, with not a single hair burnt or even the smell of fire on us, but purer and holier for the glory of God.
