Do You Love Me?

1Peter 4:7-10 ‬‬
"But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

We know the story of how Peter denied Jesus three times.
I wonder what Peter saw when Jesus turned and looked at him.

What kind of eyes did he see?
Did Peter see a pair of resentful eyes?
I believe not.
He probably saw a pair of loving and forgiving eyes, which crushed his prideful heart and totally transformed his life.
Even after Jesus rose from the dead and met Peter again, He brought reconciliation, not retribution.
