I Am His Child – Sonship

Isaiah 46:4 (NLT)
“I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

Recently I saw a very young child, who, although hasn’t quite learn how to walk stably, was running around freely and laughing, occasionally turning back to see if Papa is chasing and playing with her. Immediately, the Holy Spirit told me she trusts her father to always catch and find her if she falls.

The 2 year old girl reminded me that that’s the natural design of sonship.

We can always say that this child hasn’t experience what life truly is in this world. But we can be reminded that she trusted first before she went about her life; she wasn’t worried if she would fall.

May our trust in our Father grow bigger and larger than our life and our circumstances. Only then we can fully find rest and freedom to life, trusting that Abba will always hold us with His right hand.
