“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?”
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
“A yielded imagination becomes the sanctified imagination. The sanctified imagination is positioned for visions and dreams.” - a quote by Pastor Bill Johnson from Bethel Church.
I am reminded once again to come before the Lord every day, and let Him renew my mind. Imagining what will it be like to have Jesus in every one of my thoughts. Allowing Him to graciously remove every ungodly thought that ensnares us so easily… This painting represents a sanctified mind. A mind that is at peace and aligned. A mind that only thinks about the goodness of God and not of things of the evil. What, then, should be playing in our mind?
As we endeavour to yield our imagination to God, may we continue to thirst for Him increasingly, and may our souls flourish and prosper so that we are able to enter Eden-on-earth and be immersed in the beauty of His presence that is all around us. We are free to come to a place where we commune with Him joyfully amidst the green lush and blooms, to be filled with His love, light and life.
We are what we think. Let’s delete every offence and negative thinking pattern from our mind, and download lovely, beautiful, pure thoughts that arise from the Lord. Allow God to upload new, refreshing perspectives, goals and visions to us so that we will be led by the Holy Spirit walk with Him towards the dreams that He has planned for us to attain.
