All goods sold are non-refundable, but may be exchanged if it is defective or damaged.
We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged. The Ink Room (Bookstore) Pte Ltd should be informed of the defect or damage within 5 days from receipt of the order. Defective or damaged products are to be returned to The Ink Room (Bookstore) Pte Ltd in its original packaging; together with the invoice, with the date of purchase and order number clearly indicated.
The customer will bear the cost of returning the defective or damaged product to The Ink Room (Bookstore) Pte Ltd. Subsequently, The Ink Room (Bookstore) Pte Ltd will bear the cost of sending the exchanged product to the customer.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Unfortunately, sale items cannot be exchanged. Only regular priced items may be eligible for exchanges.
If the item was a gift shipped directly to you is defective or damaged, you will have to let the buyer know and we will facilitate the exchange.
If the item was a gift that was not shipped directly to you (i.e. the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later) is defective or damaged, you will have to let the buyer know and we will facilitate the exchange.
