The Ink Room’s beginning is deeply intertwined with the story of our founding church, City Harvest Church (CHC) founded by Kong Hee. In 1989, our founder Kong Hee obeyed a divine call to raise up a generation that would take Asia by storm. What began as a handful of 20 youths meeting at Peace Centre grew into a vibrant faith community over the decades.

CHC is a church committed to building a strong spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity, where every member is released into ministry, discipled in the Great Commandment, to obey the Great Commission and the Cultural Mandate. The Ink Room started from the Cultural Mandate: the call to engage culture with relevance and ministry, as we believe that faith is not only nurtured in the pews, but also through the ideas and words we surround ourselves with daily. 

As the official bookstore arm of City Harvest Church, The Ink Room provides believers with resources (Bibles, Christian books, prayer journals and children’s Christian resources) on various topics such as Prayer, Relationships and Personal Growth to encourage believers to grow deeper in the Word and strengthen their relationship with God.
