Romans 8:14
“For as many as are led by the Spirit, these are the sons of God.”

The voice from Heaven is a beautiful reminder of God’s love, His endearing heart toward us.

The Greek word “Huios” for Son (with a capital S signifying Jesus) in Matthew 3:17 is the exact same word as sons written in Romans 8:14.

God, our Father is calling us into a loving relationship with Him, where the Holy Spirit is given as a promise and assurance, that those who are led by the Spirit are sons and daughters of God.

Just as God said to Jesus, He is speaking to us also: This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
