Good Friday is the day that Jesus, God’s Son, was crucified on the cross. So why do we call it “good”?
Join us on this journey to discover what makes this Friday so special. Through studying Mark 15:6-39, we hope that families will learn about and understand the true meaning of Good Friday.
Besides providing opportunities for hands-on activity, reflections and conversations exploring the meaning of Good Friday, the finished product is a powerful reminder of God's love for each one of us, as well as a testimony of your faith to friends and loved ones who have yet to know Jesus as their personal Saviour.
The 8-page booklet makes use of our 4R methodology (Read, Reflect, Respond, Reinforce) to stimulate deeper reflection about what Jesus did for every individual on the cross at Good Friday. More than just an instruction manual for the craft, the content in the booklet is meant to help kids understand the depth of God’s love for them, and lovingly guide them to make a decision to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives.
