This sermon journal is all about making old school note-taking cool and fun again!
While most people today use their smartphones to take notes or to take photos of the slides on the screen, it's impersonal and doesn't always allow for individual expression. (Plus it's really distracting!) On the other hand, research has shown that writing and doodling help to vastly improve memory retention.
The journal has 2 templates for note-taking and journaling, and is printed in black-and-white so that users can colour in the pages and personalise the book however they want.
The reflection questions are designed to engage users to consider what they have heard/written down. In so doing, we hope that the user will go beyond being just a hearer of the Word, but become a doer as well!
