The kingdom of God is a kingdom of relationship. Relationship skills and principles are universal, and they apply to all, whether you are married, single, attached, divorced or widowed. After 30 years as best of friends, and 23 years as a married couple, Kong Hee and Sun Ho share the relationship lessons they have learned in good and bad times, in serving the Lord Jesus as a married couple in the local church, in overseas missions, and in the marketplace.
In a marriage, the more we are healthy emotionally and mentally, the happier the marriage will be. Unfortunately, we are all products of unresolved traumas and painful memories of the past. They develop our personalities and character, and often negatively affect our relationships with the people we love. We then bring into the marriage our own opinions, values and personality quirks, which often results in many relationship issues. Even the happiest of couples must learn to cope with marital conflicts and disputes.
In this 4-part audio series, Kong and Sun will touch on topics like suppressed anger, emotional walls, solving relational conflicts, and the secrets of happy couples, and more. As you journey with them through their light-hearted, extremely relatable and at the same time touching anecdotes, you may find your own inner healing and freedom. Adapting from John Gottman’s The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, you will discover the keys to keeping your own relationships with your loved ones happy and thriving.
